Working at Aggieworks, I’ve gained some experience in designing a brand to market it as a professional company. Since onboarding, I’ve learned how to completely rebrand a social page like instagram, and the above images show our old branding look, which seemed very plain and mediocre. We wanted our new look to be unique, professional, but playful and bright with colors, which transitioned to our new dark theme Aggieworks.
Recently, I joined a UI/UX fellowship at Design Interactive on campus. This helped me gain more knowledge about creating wireframes, prototyping, and beta testing with a project challenge that they assigned me and my group. Our goal was to create a system for library reservations at J. Shields Library on campus, since it is a first come first serve basis currently. From the photos above, you can see our hi-fi prototypes as well as our presentation cover. I was very excited to work on this project because it was something that was very user-centered and collaborative so I could share ideas with my peers and gain feedback.
